Hello! I’m Ann McCarron, also known as Mrs. Bloom, a flower farmer, florist and qualified horticulturist based just outside Belfast.

With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, I specialise in community horticulture, horticultural therapy with schools, charities and community groups and growing seasonal cut flowers for sale directly to the public and florists.

After a career in public policy, I followed my passion for growing, a decision that continues to reward me every day. Working with nature and embracing the rhythm of the seasons is at the heart of everything I do.

Alongside teaching in community settings, I grow beautiful, seasonal cut flowers using sustainable methods. At Mrs. Bloom, all flowers are locally grown, without the use of pesticides or single-use plastics. I run workshops all year round from flower arranging large and small groups sessions and seasonal wreath sessions
