From a love of growing to a life in bloom!
Hello!
I’m Ann, also known as Mrs. Bloom, a flower farmer, florist and qualified horticulturist based just outside Belfast.
After a 15-year career in public policy, I decided to take a career break to pursue my passion for growing, a decision that continues to reward me every day. Working with nature and embracing the rhythm of the seasons is at the heart of everything I do, from growing chemical-free flowers to sharing my knowledge and joy of growing with others.
With over 12 years’ experience in horticulture, I specialise in growing seasonal cut flowers for sale directly to the public and florists, as well as running seasonal flower arranging, growing and wreath-making workshops.
Another important part of Mrs. Bloom is my work in community and therapeutic horticulture. I work with schools, charities and community groups, teaching people of all ages and abilities how to grow flowers, vegetables, herbs and fruit.
